Andrew Jobling an author and writer - who would of believed it? Certainly not his year 12 English teacher!
This was a guy whose favorite books were 'Peanuts', 'The Far Side' and 'Tin Tin'!. Oh, and 'Dr Suess'! He now has three publisher books and writes for the Herald Sun
The only reason he actually passed year 12 English is because his mum, Sue, who worked in the library at a college of Secondary Education organised tutoring for him in year 12. The lady that tutored Andrew was the head of English at that particular college and on the examination board for the state of Victoria.
She possibly had some inside information, that she may have very subtly and cleverly passed on to Andrew!
So basically he scraped though.
Q: How does someone with very limited English ability write a book?
A: Get a great editor!
Actually it is very simple - when you have a passion, when you have a message that you want to spread and when you have a burning desire to get that message out there, writing a book is simple.
Andrew writes the same way he speaks, except he doesn't swear quite as much! People that know Andrew say that whilst reading his book, it is like he is actually talking to them.
Andrew would strongly encourage any one who has any desire to get a message out there to write a book. Don't worry about your english. Don't worry about finding a publisher. Don't worry about what anyone else says.
Start writing and keep going and soon you will be finished. Then worry about the other stuff.

Q: Do you know how many of these people never do because they or someone else talks them out of it?
A: About 95% of A LOT!
Be a part of the 5%.
Write a book and inspire someone. Get your message out there and change someones life for the better.
It feels amazing to make a difference in someone's life. Would something like this make you feel good?
"Dear Andrew, I just wanted to write you a little note to say thank you for the wonderful information that you provided in you book "Eat Chocolate, Drink Alcohol and be Lean and Healthy." Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have picked up your book... for the first time in my life things began to make sense. I have previously done a lot of reading about dieting, food and general well-being... but no other publication hit home as much as yours did. The whole concept of being caught on the ‘blood-sugar rollercoster’ was instantly chilling… I knew instantly that this rollercoster was controlling my life. Despite eating ‘healthily’… I would often skip breakfast and binge on sugar in the afternoon… oh how things have changed now. I am so grateful that I found your book when I did. I am currently 21 and in many ways was on a dangerous path… not necessarily with food and exercise but mainly with my self-esteem and feeling like a failure. I have never had any issues with weight however in the last two years found myself getting a little heavier month by month. I have applied your advice and strategies almost with ease… it is a far easier and rewarding program than some of the destructive diets that I have tried… I cringe when I think about what I put my body through. Andrew, thank you so much for your words… I will never forget the experience of reading your book. You have helped me in so many ways – I cannot thank you enough. Kindest Regards"

"Andrew, I googled your name wondering if you have written another book and discovered your email address. Your book has had a profound effect on my life. My 14 year old son bought the book for me for Christmas as he was concerned about my weight. Ironically he bought it from the Margaret River Chocolate Factory while we were on holiday. It has changed my life - I stopped weighing myself after I had lost 25 kgs from 110kgs and use my belt and watch band to gauge my progress. My whole family has embraced GI and your holistic approach towards life - exercise, nutrition etc. I push your book to everyone who asks how I did it. Thankyou."
Believe in your power - you are incredible
Andrew's two published works include Eat Chocolate, Drink Alcohol and be Lean & Healthy and Simply Strength, book & DVD.
